Abstract

The aim of the article was to evaluate the three-year implementation of the objectives of the grant project KEGA No. 051UK-4/2022. By implementing the project and fulfilling its objectives over a period of three years, we have created new models and approaches to the education of students with special educational needs with the aim of increasing the number of actively participating students with disabilities in inclusive physical and sports education classes in mainstream primary and secondary schools. These were summarized in the main publication, the didactic manual entitled "Inclusive physical and sports education: Examples of good practice" for physical and sports education teachers at primary and secondary schools. In total, within the project we published 50 scientific and professional publications, which was reflected in the excellent result of the final defence of the project.
