The Organization of Grammatical Phenomena in the Service of Contextualization
Abstract
The paper presents an analytical view of contextualized grammatical discourse available in the principal grammars of French written by Czech and Slovak authors in the period from 1918 and 1968 and used in schools. The overall organization of the works is studied, focusing on interrelationships between morphological and syntactic points of view, the place of syntax within these grammars, and more specifically the stress that is placed on verbal valency issues.
