Developing communicative competence in French lessons at lower-secondary school using the EduScrum method
Abstract
The article explores the growing importance placed on pupils’ needs, calling into question the role of teachers and the content of education programmes and foreign language curricula of lower-secondary schools. The link between students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities is a key area affected by this educational transformation. Teachers are encouraged to focus primarily on students’ key skills, especially communication skills. EduScrum, an innovative pedagogical technique, promotes student collaboration but also requires appropriate teacher training and fair classroom management. The potential, advantages and drawbacks of this method will be examined in this text.
