Documenti inediti in archivi italiani con riferimento alla storia dell’odierna Slovacchia

Abstrakt

The present article underlines the importance of renewed research for original charters regarding the history of the territory of modern Slovakia. The current research project aims to identify and prepare for publication such documents from Italian archives. Some examples stress the need of revisiting the sources that are already published or well known, meanwhile two quotations from letters from the 16th century point out how this kind of research might bring new elements for the Slovak historiography.
