Andrea Abreu’s Panza de burro: a novel of current feminist identity?
Abstract
Upon the basis of various investigations and studies, each generation brings an original and new perspective that pushes the limits of the perception of human identity. Gender identity is also a part of the investigation of human identity, which tries to influence the very essence of human existence and of the human being. In the motif and thematic analysis of Andrea Abreu’s novel Panza de burro, this article shows how Abreu works well psychologically with the ideas and vision of a ten-year-old girl. Abreu uses her innocence and purity to propagate radical ideas about female sexuality and the position of women in society in accordance with feminist ideology.
