Aperian Global: Learning of the sociocultural competence between professional and classroom environments
Abstract
The following article analyzes different ways of developing the sociocultural competence. The author describes and show-cases the implementation of different methods in language learning in the 20th century and its impact on how the sociocultural competence has been treated in the classroom environment. In the second part of the article, the author analyzes one of the tools called Aperian Global which is being used in the majority of multinational companies to level-up the understanding of the importance of the sociocultural competence in day-to-day business. In the conclusions’ part, the author starts the discussion about the possibilities of the transplantation of Aperian Global resources to classrooms.
