Slavic linguistic atlas
Abstract
History of Slavic Ethnology.
The Slavic Linguistic Atlas (Obščeslaviansky linguistichesky atlas) is a project of international importance in the field of research on national languages. It integrates the efforts of national teams to characterize the specific, but also common features of various Slavic languages using the method of linguistic geography.
Each volume of an individual series is processed for printing by a different national collective, but each volume is the work of all national commissions, because the materials for it are prepared by national commissions and the finished volume is opposed by all members of the national commissions before publication.
