Abstract

On interpretation of the Play on St. Dorothy in Slovakia.

The Play on St. Dorothy is not only the Slovak folk play model preserved in Slovakia in authenticity until the last mid-century by regular seasonal performance, each time at the end of January until the beginning of February, documenting the preservation of imprints of European medieval theatre which has been updated under the Slovak conditions.
