Vzpomínkové vyprávění v podání politika a filozofa T. G. Masaryka
Abstract
The first president of the Czechoslovak Republic (1918–1935) embodied in his person certain national elements that historically existed in the state at that time. His father came from western Slovakia, his mother from a German family living in Hustopeče (Auspitz), and he himself was born and raised in Hodonín in Moravian Slovakia.
The article is an analysis of the captured memories of T. G. Masaryk in terms of the choice of topics and his specific expression. The focus is mainly on memories from his childhood, which he spent in South Moravia and the nearby Slovak surroundings.
