Abstract

John Eade is Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Roehampton, Visiting Professor at the Department for the Study of Religion, Toronto University, a member of the Migration Research Unit at UCL and co-founder and co-editor of Routledge Studies in Pilgrimage, Religious Travel and Tourism and the Bloomsbury Religion, Space & Place Series. He is also the former Executive Director of CRONEM (Centre for Research on Nationalism, Ethnicity and Multiculturalism).
