Abstrakt

Nowadays ethical issues are becoming more and more important and affect every part of social life to the point that it has become a social requirement. In other word, if we want to be recognized as social actors we have to behave ethically. Unlike moral that we have to understand as general rules of behavior, ethics rather relate to individual cases in which social actor faces his responsibilities. That is why foreign language teachers are directly concerned with ethical issues in the sense of ethics of responsibility both in their relationship with the learner and in their pedagogical approaches. Actually, that is not the foreign language teachers who deal with ethical issues, but the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which fulfills more political than pedagogical objectives.
