The purpose of this article is to provide a succinct presentation of some references to Spain through selected manuscripts and old prints from the Princes Czartoryski Library Collection in Cracow. In addition, we outline briefly the collecting activity of the Czartoryski family, especially in the case of Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski (1734–1823), his wife Izabela (1746–1835) and their grandson Władysław (1828–1894). We also mention the most important facts from the Princes Czartoryski Museum and Library history and some aspects of the historical and cultural relations between Poland and Spain in the nineteenth century.
