Folklore Functions in the Contact and Mass Communication Context
Abstract
Folklore as a whole represents one of the wider folk culture system subsystems composed of material and spiritual values and relations "mutually interlinked in a given time, regional and social space of ethnic community more or less united, existing in the local groups and social strata as generally known, and in the form of local, regional or social variants traditionally considered as "obligatory".
