Slovak Samplers in a Central European Context

Abstrakt

 In 1980-1981 the Hatvan Lajos Museum initiated an exhibition of samplers under the title "Magyarországi szöveges falvédók a 19.-20. században" (Magyar Samplers in 19th-20th centuries). The exhibits were selected from a collection of about 1000 samplers gathered by the Museum in the 1970's.
